Shanel is a native of New Orleans and has been a resident of the Acadiana area for the past 8 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from LSU and her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is passionate about mental health and normalizing the struggles that individuals deal with as a part of life. Shanel hopes to bring an energetic and positive attitude to the CASA organization and support to advocates and families in the program.
